30MF Kits: ¥2,200 Knight and ¥770 Armor, With Tax (2026)
TL;DR: Bandai's 30MF brand list has 75 entries; 72 carry 30MF in the name, dated August 2024 to March 2027: 32 kits with a body, 24 Class Up Armor sets and 16 option or licensed items. The general-release Liber and Rosan job kits list at ¥2,200 to ¥2,750 with tax in Japan and $22.95 to $29.99 at two US shops. Checked Oct 31 and again Nov 1, 2026.

Of the two 30MF kits that opened the line in 2024, only the Rosan Knight was in stock at a US shop we checked; the Liber Knight was sold out at one shop and back on pre-order at the other. So the first decision is not which kit, but which shop has one.
Which 30MF kits to buy first? (quick answer)
Start with one Knight, Liber or Rosan, whichever a shop can ship now. Then add a Class Up Armor set whose Bandai page names that Knight as its base. For the Rosan pair, Gundam Planet's listed prices on Oct 31 added up to $35.90.
Overview: what is in the 30 Minutes Fantasy line
30 Minutes Fantasy (30MF) is Bandai Spirits' fantasy line in the same 30 Minutes label as 30 Minutes Missions. Bandai calls it a series "where you can create your own fantasy job." Each job kit page we read describes a starter set: a plain "silhouette" body plus the armor and weapons for one job. A Class Up Armor set is only armor and weapons. The Liber Holy Knight set (¥700 before tax) works "by combining it with" the Liber Knight, "sold separately."

The 32 kits with a body include monster kits such as the Dlro Wyvern, which Bandai describes as "a monster kit that can be loaded with various jobs sold separately." Item Shop sets add weapons and props, and Customize Structure sets add small monsters and scenery. The licensed kits stand apart: five Samurai Troopers figures at ¥5,500 with tax, and two Monster Hunter Wilds kits due in March 2027. One Liber kit, the Liber Holy Knight (Ceremonial) at ¥4,620 with tax, is a Premium Bandai item rather than a shop release. The three brand entries without 30MF in the name are seal sheets: a 30 MINUTES FANTASY flexible seal due in February 2027 and two 30ML ZONE event seal sets. Our 30MF kit hub lists the line item by item.
Desk note: The 16 Class Up Armor sets dated August 2024 to September 2025 list at ¥770 with tax in our copy of Bandai's list; the 8 dated December 2025 onward list at ¥1,100. None of the older 16 has changed price since we began tracking on Oct 11. A 2024 armor set is the cheaper way to try the system.
Read Bandai's English item pages with care. They are machine translated, and the page for the December 2026 Superior Arch Knight calls its base kit the "30MF River Knight."
Step-by-Step: buying your first 30MF kits
1. Pick the side that is in stock. Liber and Rosan share the same eight jobs, Knight through Swordman, released in the same month or up to two months apart. On Oct 31 the 30MF Rosan Knight was $24.95 in stock at Gundam Planet. The Liber Knight was sold out there at $24.95 and a $23.99 pre-order at USA Gundam Store, estimated for the first quarter of 2027.
Diagram: PlamoDesk. Source: Bandai's English schedule (our copy, Oct 30) and item pages.
2. Buy the armor set made for your kit. Each armor page we read names one base kit. The Liber Commander set goes on the Liber Knight; the Rosan Fortress set goes on the Rosan Lancer, not the Rosan Knight. The Liber Holy Knight set was $9.99 in stock at USA Gundam Store and sold out at Gundam Planet, which listed the Rosan version at $10.95.
3. Leave Item Shop sets for later. The first one, Item Shop 1 at ¥800 before tax, adds a lighter shield, a treasure chest and potions. On Oct 31 it was out of stock with no restock date at USA Gundam Store and listed as unavailable at Gundam Planet.
4. Treat monsters as add-ons, not starters. The Nov 2026 Dlro Fenrir (¥2,300 before tax) is described the same way as the Dlro Wyvern: a monster built to take jobs sold separately. Buy it after the job kit, not before.
5. Buy a licensed kit for the show. The Samurai Troopers Gai of the Heat is ¥5,000 before tax, and Gundam Planet listed the five Samurai Troopers kits at $64.95. Bandai ties them to the Samurai Troopers TV anime that began in January 2026. If you do not watch it, a Liber or Rosan job kit costs half as much or less in Japan: ¥2,200 to ¥2,750 with tax, against ¥5,500.

What is coming: November 2026 to March 2027
Bandai lists 11 more items with 30MF in the name from November 2026 to March 2027. November brings the Liber Fortress, the Rosan Commander and the Dlro Fenrir. The two job kits cross over June's armor: the Liber Commander was an armor set for the Liber Knight, and now Rosan gets a full Commander kit; the Rosan Fortress armor went on the Rosan Lancer, and now Liber gets a full Fortress.

December adds the Land Hunter and the Superior Arch Knight, which Bandai calls "the series' first-ever Class V," at ¥3,000 before tax. The Monster Hunter Wilds Rathalos and Arkveld equipment kits follow in March 2027 at ¥4,950 with tax each. The months around them are in our November 2026 list and December 2026 list.
US estimates split by shop. Gundam Planet listed the Liber Fortress and Rosan Commander as $28.95 pre-orders with "December 2026 Arrival." USA Gundam Store listed the same two at $29.99 with "Q1 2027," and gave the same quarter for the Dlro Fenrir, Land Hunter and Superior Arch Knight.
The 2027 items carry later estimates still. On Nov 1 Gundam Planet gave February 2027 for the January Darknevil Arch Knight, March 2027 for the February Necros Mephisto at $30.95, and April 2027 for the two March Monster Hunter Wilds kits at $54.95 each. USA Gundam Store tagged all four Q2 2027, with the Necros Mephisto at $29.99.
What we don't know yet: whether the Liber Knight's Q1 2027 pre-order at USA Gundam Store is a new production run, and whether the December arrival Gundam Planet gives the November kits holds. Its pages say "It is possible this date will be delayed."
Tips: shopping for 30MF in the US
Shop by stock first. Price gaps between the two shops were small on the kits we compared: the Liber Fortress was $28.95 against $29.99, the Superior Arch Knight $34.95 against $34.99. Armor sets ran $8.95 to $14.95 at Gundam Planet and $8.99 to $12.99 at USA Gundam Store in their search listings.
Check the base kit before you pay for armor. The Rosan Fortress mix-up in step 2 is easy to make, because the job names do not tell you which body the set is for. The Bandai page does.
For tools, our Gunpla tools for beginners guide covers the first four buys, starting with a nipper.

What builders say
A new builder posted a Liber Knight in progress on r/Gunpla in July, and one reply pointed straight at step 2:
"Definitely look into the class-up kits for the knight. I've got both the paladin and holy knight upgrades, and they're both good in and of themselves and mix well together." u/Alceus89 on r/Gunpla, July 2026
Another builder, a year earlier, described collecting both sides: "Right now I am alternating, one Rosen/one Liber" (u/EternalGandhi, June 2025).
Our take
Start with the Rosan Knight and the Rosan Holy Knight armor while Gundam Planet has them. Of the two 2024 Knights, it was the only one in stock on Oct 31, at $24.95. Its armor set was listed at $10.95, and Bandai's page names the Rosan Knight as its base. Liber fans can wait for the Q1 2027 pre-order. Skip the November kits as a first buy unless you want the Commander or Fortress job; neither shop expects them before December. We check these prices again in early December, when the November kits are due at Gundam Planet.
How we checked this
On the night of Oct 31 (Vietnam time; the evening of Oct 30 in the US) we opened 21 Bandai item pages for 30MF items, 17 in English and 4 in Japanese, and counted the line in our copies of Bandai's Japanese item list (Oct 25) and English schedule (Oct 30). We read listings at Gundam Planet and USA Gundam Store. Gundam Planet blocked most product pages after the first few, so for some items we give its search listing price only and no stock. On the morning of Nov 1 (the evening of Oct 31 in the US) we reread every shop page linked here and both shops' 30MF listings: the prices and stock in the steps, tips and Our take had not changed. That pass reached the Gundam Planet product pages blocked the night before, which give the arrival months in the coming-kits table, and added the Necros Mephisto and Monster Hunter Wilds prices. Reddit was read through Arctic Shift. We have not built these kits.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a 30 Minutes Fantasy anime or game? Not one of its own that we found. On the 21 Bandai pages we read, the original Liber, Rosan and Dlro kits are presented as a model series only, with no show or game named. The licensed kits are the exception: the Samurai Troopers figures, and two March 2027 kits based on the Monster Hunter Wilds game.
Can 30MF parts be used with 30MM or 30MS kits? Bandai builds for it. The Dlro Fenrir and Dlro Wyvern pages say the kits use the 30 MINUTES LABEL common 3 mm joint and fit an Action Base, and Item Shop 1 includes 30MS joint parts for mixing with 30 Minutes Sisters items. Our Gunpla stands guide covers which Action Base to use.
What is an Element Core on a 30MF kit? A label Bandai prints on the item page. Eight of the English pages we read give one: water for the Liber Commander armor, fire for the Rosan Commander, earth for the Land Hunter, light for the Superior Arch Knight, darkness for the Dlro Skeleton and lightning for three others. None of them says what the attribute does in a build.
Are 30MF kits suitable for kids? Bandai marks them for older builders. All 21 30MF item pages we opened, 17 in English and 4 in Japanese, give an age mark of 15 and over, including the monster kits, the Item Shop sets and the Samurai Troopers figure. For comparison, Bandai's pages for the HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial and the Entry Grade RX-78-2 say 8 and over.
Are 30MF kits Gunpla? Not by Bandai's own filing. Its English site puts GUNPLA and 30 MINUTES LABEL under separate menus, and the 30 MINUTES LABEL page lists 30 MINUTES FANTASY as one of four brands, next to Missions, Sisters and Preference. That page calls the label a BANDAI SPIRITS plastic model brand of its own.
