What changed and why
Bandai Spirits announced that it would revise the prices of its plastic model kits in stages from April 2025, for some kits it reissues from then on. Its notice gives the reasons as higher raw material and packaging costs plus rising logistics costs, after measures to hold prices failed for some products, and points out that some of the kits it still sells first came out more than 40 years ago (our translation).
Bandai publishes the affected kits in three groups: general release kits sold in shops and Gundam Base, event and other limited kits are listed quarter by quarter, while kits sold through the Premium Bandai Hobby Online Shop are announced as each one opens for pre-order. Each table gives the price before and after the revision, both including Japan's 10% consumption tax. The tables are images, so we copy the numbers by hand and link the notice for every list; if a number here differs from Bandai's table, Bandai's table is right.
Bandai's notice ties the new prices to kits reissued from April 2025 on, and the price on each kit page here is the one Bandai's Japanese list shows on the day we checked. US shops set their own dollar prices and are not covered here. We list Bandai's official Japanese prices only, never resale prices.
