30 Minutes Sisters Explained: ¥2,530 to ¥5,060 Kits (2026)
TL;DR: 30MS is Bandai Spirits' girl-figure kit line, launched in 2021 under the same 30 Minutes label as 30MM. Bandai's Japanese list has 197 items: 54 character kits, 133 option parts sets, 3 outfits, 7 stickers or decals. Original characters list at ¥2,530 to ¥3,850 with tax, licensed ones at ¥4,070 to ¥5,060; US prices ran $30.99 to $44.99 for character kits. Checked Oct 24, 2026.

The cheapest way into 30 Minutes Sisters is not a licensed idol but one of Bandai's own characters: those kits start at ¥2,530, about half the ¥5,060 of the top licensed ones. The real decision for a new builder is whether you want one complete figure or a parts system you keep adding to, because 133 of the line's 197 items are option parts.
30 Minutes Sisters? (quick answer)
30 Minutes Sisters (30MS) is a line of snap-together girl figures with interchangeable bodies, faces, hair and armor, joined by 3mm pegs. It is not Gunpla: Bandai files it in its 30 Minutes label next to the 30 Minutes Missions robots. If you want to try it, start with one original-character kit around $32.
Key Takeaways
- Launched 2021: the first character kit in Bandai's list, the SIS-G00 Rishetta [Color A], is dated August 2021.
- Parts-heavy line: 133 of 197 items are option parts, not complete figures.
- Two price bands: original characters median ¥2,750; licensed characters median ¥4,620 (with tax).
- 3mm joints: shop copy and Toy-People both describe 3mm joints shared with the 30 Minutes label.
- Newest kit: Myasti [Color C], on sale in Japan Oct 24 at ¥2,750.
Overview: what is in the 30 Minutes Sisters line
Japanese Wikipedia's 30 Minutes Label article says 30MS launched in 2021 as a bishoujo (pretty-girl) plastic model line, and that 30MM and the others together form the 30ML brand (our translation). Bandai's Japanese item list gives 30MS its own brand filter.
Desk note: In our copy of Bandai's Japanese list (read Oct 11), the 30MS brand holds 197 items: 54 character kits, 133 option parts sets, 3 Scale Atelier Wear outfits and 7 stickers or decals. The 35 original-character kits list at ¥2,530 to ¥4,950 with tax; the 25 of them on general sale run ¥2,530 to ¥3,850, median ¥2,750. The 19 licensed kits run ¥4,070 to ¥5,060, median ¥4,620. A licensed face costs about ¥1,870 more at the median.

Original characters. Bandai's own girls carry a SIS code: SIS-G00 Rishetta, SIS-A00 Tiasha, SIS-N00 Sourei, SIS-W00 Marical. Many come in Color A, B and C versions; the same body in a new palette is a new item.
Licensed characters. 15 of the 19 licensed kits in our copy come from Bandai's The Idolmaster series filter. The others are one each from Fate/Grand Order (Caster/Altria Caster), Fate/stay night (Rin Tohsaka, March 2027), Witch on the Holy Night (Aoko Aozaki, March 2027) and Uma Musume Pretty Derby (Tokai Teio). Toy-People names The Idolmaster and Fate as the line's big collaborations.
Size and scale. Shop listings call the kits "Non-Scale"; Gundam Planet gives the SIS-T00 Lirinel [Color A] an "Overall height about 125mm!"

Step-by-Step: starting 30 Minutes Sisters
1. Pick one character kit. A complete figure comes in one box. Gundam Planet's listing for the SIS-N00 Sourei [Color B] says it "includes a character body, three types of facial parts with tampo printing, and armor parts." The faces come printed, per that listing.
2. Choose the color version. Color A, B and C are separate items. USA Gundam Store's Marical is "#21 SIS-W00 Marical (Color C)"; check the letter before you order.
3. Decide original or licensed. Original characters were $30.99 to $44.99 in the two US shops on Oct 24. Licensed kits cost more in Japan (median ¥4,620 against ¥2,750 for general-release originals), and our two shops' searches showed none of them that day.
4. Add option body parts later. Option sets change arms, legs or torsos. USA Gundam Store describes its Option Body Parts Type S03 (Color C), $10.99, as a way to "expand your 30 Minutes Sisters customization collection." In Bandai's list the option sets run ¥600 to ¥3,080, median ¥880.
5. Then hair, faces and outfits. Gundam Planet had Option Hairstyle Parts Vol.8 [All 4 Types] at $29.95. Bandai's list adds Scale Atelier Wear outfits (three yukata sets, ¥2,200 each, December 2026 and March 2027).
6. Mix with 30MM if you like. A Gundam Planet 30MS listing says the kit "uses 3mm joints common to 30 MINUTES LABEL," and Toy-People says every component across the line uses a standardized 3mm joint system.

What is new in 30 Minutes Sisters
The newest general release hit Japanese shelves on Oct 24. The official 30MS account posted the day before:
*Post: 30 MINUTES SISTERS 公式SNS (@30msisters) on X (official), embedded.*The post gives the 30MS Myasti [Color C] at ¥2,750 with tax, on sale October 24 at electronics and toy stores across Japan (our translation). Bandai's list files it as SIS-E00, a 2026-10 item at the same price.
Coming up in Bandai's list: a licensed kit in November 2026 (¥5,060), Mikoto Hida in January 2027 (¥4,180), Rin Tohsaka (¥4,620) and Aoko Aozaki (¥5,060) in March 2027, plus option bodies and outfits most months. Our January 2027 release list covers that month's 30MS items next to the Gunpla.

Tips: buying 30 Minutes Sisters in the US
- Read the color letter. The same character in Color A and Color C are two items at two prices.
- Watch for "Form" and "Wear" versions. Bandai's list has kits such as Tiasha (Dahlia Wear) [Color B] at ¥2,750; USA Gundam Store had it at $31.99 on Oct 24.
- Limited versions are labeled. Bandai tags some items "30ML ZONE限定" (30ML Zone limited) or Premium Bandai; those are not general releases.
- Option parts can cost as much as a kit. Gundam Planet listed Option Body Parts Type SU02 [Color A] at $26.95, near its $32.95 Sourei.
- Decals sell out. Gundam Planet's 30 Minutes Sisters Water Decals Multi-Use 1 ($9.95) was unavailable on Oct 24.

What we don't know yet: US arrival dates for the Myasti and the 2027 licensed kits, and whether US shops will stock the licensed kits at all; neither shop's search showed one on Oct 24.
Our take
Start with one original 30MS character at about $32; add option parts only after the first build. Original kits median ¥2,750 in Japan against ¥4,620 for licensed ones, and 133 of the line's 197 items are add-ons, so it is easy to overspend before you know you like the system. If you came for a specific idol or Fate character, skip this advice and wait for US listings. We recheck US prices with the next beginner-guide update.
How we checked this
On Oct 24, 2026 we counted 30MS items in our copy of Bandai Hobby Site Japan's item list (read Oct 11; Bandai's site was in maintenance on Oct 24), read Japanese Wikipedia's 30 Minutes Label article, the official @30msisters post on X, Toy-People's article on the line, and Gundam Planet and USA Gundam Store search results for "30MS" and "30 Minutes Sisters". Reddit searches through Arctic Shift timed out, so this guide quotes no builders. We have not built these kits.
