About Mobile Suit Gundam Wing kits
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing first aired on TV in 1995, according to the official Gundam site. Bandai files the whole Wing family under one series filter on its Japanese list, so this page includes kits with and without "EW" in the name. Kits from the original 1995 run are still listed: the 1/144 Wing Gundam Zero is dated September 1995 and costs ¥770 with tax today.
Two recent kits make good starting points. The Entry Grade 1/144 Wing Gundam (October 2025) is listed at 1,000 yen before tax on Bandai's English page; Bandai says it needs no stickers and its touch gates come off by hand without pliers. The RG 1/144 Wing Gundam Zero (September 2025) is the detailed option at 4,200 yen before tax, a completely new three-dimensional model with a wing binder part, rated for ages 15 and over, where the Entry Grade kit says 8 and over. In US shops on October 11, 2026, USA Gundam Store listed the HGAC 1/144 Wing Gundam Zero at $21.99 and Gundam Planet the RG at $54.95.
Between them sit the HG and MG versions and the MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW of November 2024, at ¥4,950 with tax on Bandai's Japanese list. Our mobile suit page for the Wing Gundam Zero lists every version of that one suit.
