Entry Grade is Bandai's low-cost 1/144 line, and Bandai's beginner page says some items, including Entry Grade, need no tools. Several EG kits use touch gates you snap off by hand, so no nippers are needed, and some need no stickers.
For new builders
If you have never built a kit, an EG costs little and needs almost no tools; move to HG when you want more detail.
